Easter '10 at LAWA

Easter at the farm has now become the highlight of my year! All the Durbanites traveled up in the HCA bus and met the rest of the family there. Unfortunately not all the family makes it every year, but enough to full the breakfast table every morning! We missed so many of you, dearly! But hear are some pics... we had a ball! Some of the family...

Precious, precious Gabriella.

Kay and Bella sharing easter eggs...

So the easter egg hunt is still very important (no matter how young or old) - there were eggs on the roof.

Little Noah, what a cute little guy, i hadn't met him 'til this weekend, and i just love him! Ross and Shan are living in Lothair now as well.

Granny with Sienna and Matt.

Sienna has grown up so much, she's such a little lady and i fell in love with her. Kay customised her eater egg basket - so sweet!

We headed to Cascades one day, to the river and relived old memories (bum slides down the river, fishing, four-wheeler accidents!!)

Waz, dad, Uncle Mel, Uncle Gav.

Easter Bunnies!

Cake and Hot Cross Buns on the Gazebo...

We made our way up to Eagle High as well, to "Worlds View", the pics don't do it justice, its absolutely breath-taking! (where Gerri and Wayne got married!)

Dev and her friend, Chloe

Kay on the tractor at the Eucalyptus plant at Eagle High.

These pics were taken at Eagle High as well, how gorgeous are the gardens!

Matty - he just turned one!

Pure LOVE.

Mom's 47th Birthday!

For some reason i cannot get these pics in the right order when i upload! Anyway, we had a lovely dinner this evening for Mom's Birthday. The Tems came over, and Jared - its always great to be all together. It ended in arm wrestling, wish i'd thought to take pics from the beginning! Sorry! Here are a couple from the evening though!

Rebecca's Kitchen Tea

Another one of my special friends is about to tie the knot and we had her kitchen tea this weekend. It was so well organised and a lovely time! Congrats Bex! Megan and Carmen, 2 closest friends from school, love these girls!

The 4 of us from school; Megan, Yours Truly, Rebecca, Carmen.

Us add Tam on the left.

Bride to be - she was such a good sport!

It was all a surprise, Nick, the guy on the left, is her fiance.

Marek and Gemma get hitched!

One of my favourite friends got married a few weekends ago and it was an awesome wedding. She has so much style and so her wedding was bound to be something a little different with an eclectic touch - which it was! I love her so much and wish her and Marek everything of very best in the years to come. They have moved to a flat in Durban so I don't see her as often anymore, but cherish every moment we do get to spend together. So i might have muddles the pictures up a little bit! This should have been at the end! But, this is Michelle, another of my favourite friends.

What happened to February?

So i checked the date, and its March. What the heck? I have not blogged for a while, my apologies, time sped by and left me very clearly behind!

Dane and Krystal have moved to JHB - after a quick ferry (in a plane, not a boat) around the world they've settled in JHB and i miss them so much already. Its so sad, but i know that them being together is the most important thing and so I am excited for them - but it doesn't work so well for me!

I have just come back from the Drakensberg, I went for the Drak Challenge canoe race where we seconded a friend down the river for 2 days. It was mainly just lying in the sun on the side of the river waiting for him to come past, then moving down the river and waiting in the sun for him to come past again - until the race ended. I loved it! I came back exhausted, but with a great tan and many fun memories with great friends!

I can't believe how time is flying, a friend of mine gets married this weekend, and I am so excited for her. University is kicking my butt at the moment, but I'm forging on with what strength I have left - slow and steady. I'm going to watch Kelly Clarkson in concert next weekend and I can't wait.

All these things just make time speed up even more, but I'll be sure to include pictures along the way! - Just not this time.

'til next time...

Day at the Dam.

We spent the day at Inanda Dam this past Sunday, Dane bought a jetski not too long ago and so we all gave it a shot. What an entertaining day it turned out to be! There was quite a crowd (which proved to be quite an audience as well!), the Tem's were there, all of the Milnes, Kayley and Byron, Dane and Kris of course, Bev came with lil Blayze, Jared Temlett (uncle Mel's nephew on his side) was there with his girlfriend, Leeanne, and then a bunch of Dane's friends who brought their jetski's as well. I didn't get pics of everyone, not even one of me, but i did get some cute ones! This blue ski isn't Dane's one, its his friends - but was much easier for Dev to ride as Dane's is a "stand up" one - as in once you're going fast enough, you can stand up and the handle bars lift... Not as easy as it may sound. I stood up briefly, but wiped out so many times and could barely walk the next day - its hard work! You come out the water huffing and puffing! But such fun!

I have a few videos that'll make you laugh - i only uploaded one, I'm not sure if it works - if it does I'll add the rest!
