I say it every time, but this year is running away from me and i cannot keep up! Most of the time I don't realise it until Christmas arrives when i look back and wonder how I'm not dizzy! But this year, I'm so aware of how the weeks are flying by! - And I'm not getting enough blogging in!

I'm writing mid-year exams at the moment, after a long and gruelling semester - which is yet to be over! I took subjects like Economics, Statistics and Accounting this year/semester which are not my strengths by any stretch of the imagination. Stats is my real struggle, with an exam looming in 2 weeks, I'm not nearly ready, I have no where else to place my trust but in the Lord, because I'd never pass this on my own! It's been such a challenge, especially when studying on your own, with no lectures or anyone to turn to. But perseverance is the name of the game... I'll keep you posted!

Work, the other half of my life, has been wonderful! I'm still au pairing, every day (each afternoon), for a wonderful family who i have grown to absolutely love! They have been so understanding and generous and just make it so easy for me! I am so grateful for a good, well paying job, as a student (or as anyone, actually!), i have been so blessed, beyond my expectation, and my greatest desire is that i never lose sight of that! All glory to Him!

Being Mothers Day this weekend, we were able to spend some serious quality time with the family again! The Temlett's live literally down the road, as do Kayley and Byron and we still never seem to spend vast amounts of time together, which is so sad. But this Sunday we had a huge braai, Dane and Krystal surprised us from JHB, which was just fabulous and we spent the whole of Sunday together with the Bennison's, the Tem's, ourselves, the Barnard's, the Daly's, Jared, Bevan and Blayze. It was just wonderful! I would not trade my great, enormous (and ever growing) extended family for the world!

I love to blog, I love to write, I love to imagine you reading the poorly strung together words on this page and feel like you're that much closer. Sometimes you get pictures, sometimes you don't, but that's not the point, its that all I would want is to talk over coffee... To my family far and wide who read this, i love you all so much, and miss you everyday. I hope you're well.

'til next time...

Rebecca and Nic tie the knot.

One of my good friends from school got married on the 1st of May this year. It was a gorgeous wedding at a stunning venue in Nottingham Road - the Midlands. She married Nic Kooiker (said quaker) whom she met in Madagascar! Wish the both of you all the happiness in the world!
I took very few pics and uploaded fewer, but here they are anyway!

Megan, Rebecca, Me, Carmen

I'm the only single girl from school left, others are married or in serious relationships, so this was..............um.............fun! :)

The newly weds - Rebecca and Nic Kooiker - who are moving to Richards Bay unfortunately!
